Keyvan is the Director of equity valuation and compliance at Gust Valuation Services, where he has delivered valuations for over 500 startups, ranging from seed to series E. In addition, Keyvan helps the broader Gust team with product ideation, market research, go-to-market initiatives, sales engineering, and product management. Prior to Gust, he served as the managing partner of Preferred Return, a tech-centric valuation firm where he joined as employee #3 and managed the company through its acquisition by Gust. Keyvan is a CFA charter holder, and he started the first 5-years of his career in various roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Tarik is the Founder & Managing Partner at Transcendent Capital. Tarik is also a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners, a VC fund based in Washington DC. Currently, Tarik serves as a mentor at 1776, a global startup incubator and he is also a mentor at Startupbootcamp, a global accelerator.
Prior to Transcendent Capital, Tarik founded Transcendent Holdings, his personal investment company, where he invested in the first rounds of SkySafe, Reach Robotics, Burrow, Industrial/Organic, Raden and Bazaar among others. Prior to Transcendent Holdings, Tarik gained investment experience at Atika Capital Management, a long/short international equity fund where he covered tech/media/telecom stocks.Â
Aki Balogh co-founded and is CEO of MarketMuse. Prior to MarketMuse, he worked with the CEO of InfiniDB, a Series B startup that made an analytic database for Big Data engagements. Before joining InfiniDB, he was an Associate at OpenView Venture Partners where he looked at Series B investments in Big Data & Machine Learning. Prior to that, Aki was a software developer and a management consultant in the Data Science practice of Diamond Management & Technology Consultants (now PwC Diamond Advisory).
Justin DiPietro is the COO and Co-Founder of SaleMove, where he is responsible for product strategy and direction and day to day operations. Justin stays up to date on trends in technology and artificial intelligence to ensure that SaleMove’s vision to meet or exceed the in-person customer experience online is carried out. Prior to SaleMove, he worked alongside Dan serving as a consultant working with top enterprises on customer and technology strategy. Justin grew up in New Jersey and is a graduate from Pennsylvania State University. In his spare time, Justin enjoys scuba diving, traveling and surfing.
Co-Founder and Chief Digital Officer of BoxC, Chad Schofield has expertise in international trade, international logistics, design and development of new services, projects and strategic partnerships. As is the case with many startups he’s involved in many aspects of the company from design of the company’s proprietary software, business development and marketing, negotiations with carriers and postal authorities around the world as well as fund raising. As a consultant for USAID/COMPETE Africa, Schofield displays skill in strategic planning and also global sourcing by having developed a branding and awareness campaign to promote/increase African apparel exports to the United States and Europe.
Before joining Facilitated Growth in 2013, as a series 7 and 63 registered representative, Pete was involved in investments spanning both the public and private markets. At National Securities, he maintained client relationships, managed client accounts, and oversaw a team of people. As Director of Investment Strategy at FG, he is currently using his assets to assist entrepreneurs in navigating through the early stages of the business process, with a focus on investor sentiment. His ability to read and assess situations is considered by the partners when making a proprietary investment.
